Mr M's Key Art

After work and on weekends when I am tapping away at the computer or watching tv or crocheting away.
Mr M is busy out in the shed creating his works of art.

One day he came across a bunch of old keys and said he could make them into something.

I am sure I muttered something along the lines of "that's nice dear"

Before I knew it some little keyballs emerged.

Then some middle sized ones and big ones.

He has even made some footballs, they make great trophies.

And, he is experimenting with some bowls.
I like the idea of a key bowl to keep my car keys in.

I am afraid he is not very tech savvy, I have been trying to persuade him to open an etsy store and start a facebook page.
What to you think? Should he?
Any advice or suggestions?
I might just start with a MoerKey page up on the blog here.

  2. I love the key bowl. Maybe your husband needs your tech skills to do the Etsy store for him. He does the key balls and you sell them. And you both plan how to spend the money!

    1. Well Deb has been frantically looking at stuff for the etsy store and I think we will make it happen, Id love to make balls out of old "Skeleton keys" but getting enough to make one ball is a real challenge, Id need 50 or so for a small ball... I have a few and can incorporate one or two into balls to make them even more interesting

I was just browsing back through your older posts as I'm a bit behind on all my blog reading at the moment when I saw this post - I rememeber seeing it a while back and meaning to comment but then getting distracted and forgetting sorry. These key balls are seriously amazing!! I would buy one for sure - such a clever design, a real statement/talking piece. A bowl would be a great creation too. An Etsy store is a definite must!!
