Project Kitchen Stools...
Some dear friends of ours recently relocated to another town. Their new home is very modern and there was nowhere for their old bar stools to go. Luckily I had had my eye on them for some time and happily took them off their hands.
Before
I have been a long time fan of Sarah of A beach Cottage who can transform anything with white paint so I decided a little painting was in order.
The paints is more of an off white so it didn't look stark against the creamy benches.
After
It is truely amazing what a lick of paint will do!
I am debating about whether or not to attack them with sandpaper to rough them up a bit. I think I will wait until the desk chair is finished and then decide.
I am off now to finish the desk chair, this painting thing is addictive!!

ReplyDeleteThanks Kyandra, and everyone else, the paint is quarter strength dulux hog bristle. On reflection, we could have maybe even gone half strength.
