Hello,
I am venturing into uncharted territory today for Let's go Moerkabout. It's my first Guest Blog Post. Hope you enjoy it. Lets welcome Jen....................
Hiya! I'm Jenn and I write for Arcadian Lighting, which is an e-commerce website that follows the top lighting ideas and trends from across the globe. I've been writing about home decor and lighting fixtures for more than a decade, and one of the best ways to stay on top of the latest and greatest is to visit some of the great interior design blogs out there, one of which is Let's Go Moerkabout. The posts are always beautiful and I feel privileged to be writing here today - thank you! There are a few simple ingredients to a stylish bathroom: a pretty colour palette, a great light fixture, a beautiful vanity, and a fabulous clawfoot tubs. Sleek and stately, these tubs of yesteryear have never lost their luxurious touch and can truly make a bathroom instantly glamorized. Here are eight clawfoot tubs you can't resist. 1 Lovely lavenderThis stunning lavender-coloured clawfoot tub is accented with gold-framed prints on the walls and a huge oversized mirror, which reflects the lighting fixture in the adjoining room, to make the space appear larger. 2 Sunny yellowWhat a refreshing colour for a clawfoot tub you can't resist - the sunshiny yellow looks softer accented with a white ruffled shower curtain. 3 Plush and purpleA bold purple clawfoot tub is amplified by purple and white thick-striped wallpaper. The white decorative feet are also a nice detail. 4 Ravishing redThis busy bathroom is drenched in bright colour, from the patterned paper to the red clawfoot tub and stainless steel accouterments. 5 Exotic in blackThe ceiling light of this Moroccan-inspired bathroom is the centrepiece of the space, along with the sleek black clawfoot tub. 6 Beautiful buttery huesSweeping curtains in a dainty floral motif frame this soft butter-yellow clawfoot tub, and the antique stool is the perfect finishing touch. 7 Turquoise ZenCentered in the room is this turquoise tub, which really makes a statement. The chandelier light fixture, statue, and terrycloth ottoman come together to create a place of serenity. 8 Shabby chic greenA pastel green clawfoot tub is paired with a dated black mantel and high ceilings for a pretty yet shabby chic bathroom. I think the turquoise is my favourite, followed by the black one with the chippy doors.
Hi Deb,
ReplyDeleteI have to agree with you. I think the turqouise is beautiful and I could most certainly live with number 6 buttery tones too.
Have a great weekend.

ReplyDeleteHi Deb,
ReplyDeleteSo true re the lighting.... It can make or break a room.
Turquoise is dreamy.
We have a claw bath in our ensuite and we love it, so relaxing. I remember when our builders moved it in there from the front verandah - it took 6 men to
carry it.

ahhh i'm hankering. but memories of cleaning under and behind that sucker brings me back to reality.
