Crikey, It's the jumping Crocs!

No trip up North with 3 kids would be complete without a Jumping Crocs cruise. If we weren't paranoid about Crocodiles before hand,  we were after!

Du dum (think Jaws music)
These Adelaide River crocs are conditioned to come out and jump for food when they hear the boat engine slow down.
They recognise the tour guides voices. The tour guides say they are dressed in khaki just in case they end up in the river. The tourists are usually in bright colours which the crocs love!

Mr M. has some far better pictures of the crocs jumping with the base of their tails out of the water but I can't figure out how to turn them because I haven't had my second cup of tea yet this morning!

At the end they feed the kestrals and whistling kites, it was very dramatic.

3 very happy and satisfied customers!
