Where the heck have I been?
Hello,
Where on earth have I been? I just haven't been here or on Twitter or pinterest or anywhere.
Nope I have just had a serious loss of blogging mojo.
I am not really sure why.
One week I am full on into blogging, the next, nothing.................... Big empty white blank.
I believe it happens to most bloggers at some point.
No one has been nasty or anything, I just had the can't be bothereds.
Anywho the lovely Katrina from the Block shook me up today when I noticed accidentally by email that she had mentioned Lets go Moerkabout as one of her favourite blogs. I always thought she had good taste ;)
So, hopefully I will have my mojo restored very soon. I do have some stunning shots of a gorgeous place we camped at over Easter. Real Calm before the storm photos before It all went to hell. OMG it was one to the worst 30 mins of my life. All is good now. Nothing a few glasses of wine couldn't sort out.
Have a happy day.

Deb! I have been meaning to email you for yonkys and see how you are, but it's bloody impossible to email on my ipod thingy. The work computer is better (he he). I'm so glad all is well with you. I know what you mean about losing motivation. I feel like I'm struggling at the moment. It is supposed to be fun and not feel like a job after all :)
ReplyDeleteTalke care xx
HI Sarah, how are you? I know the ipod is a tricky blighter. I was hoping for an ipad but none have eventuated so far. How lovely of you to respond so quickly. Now I remember why I blog. How's Molly? I must scoot over to your blog and read up on her antics and recovery from the operation. Deb
ReplyDeleteI missed you!
ReplyDeleteAw shucks thanks
DeleteYes I've missed you too Deb. Loss of blogging mojo happens to us all but you must come back and tell us the tale of this 30 worst minutes of your life because now my imagination has gone into overdrive.
ReplyDeleteSo glad the wine was a good medicine.
xx
Thanks Annie. You never ever in a million years would I ever exaggerate!!!!
DeleteHI Deb, please keep blogging. I love reading your blog too! I started blogging in March and then had a laundry fire in early April which really freaked me out totally (totally) and I stopped blogging until this week pretty much. My blogging "brain waves" just stopped I think! I am back at it this week with a name change and direction change so all is good! I will look forward to your posts with my morning coffees from now on! Marina x
ReplyDeleteHi marina sorry to hear about your fire. Glad you have your mojo back too.
DeleteThe thing about the blog is you do it when you feel like it!!! Good o see you back. I must be the laziest blogger of all!!! I often wander through others, just get the can't be bothereds regarding posting!!! xox
ReplyDeleteGood to hear I am not the only one.
ReplyDeleteI actually found you via Katrina's blog - and like you, I was inspired to actually post something today because of the mention on her blog! Funny, sometimes all we need is a bit of encouragement/validation :)
ReplyDeleteThanks Cathy, you are right, a little bit of validation goes a long way. I guess it is just important that we don't come to rely on it. I visited your lovely blog and will be back with a cuppa for a longer read.
DeleteI know the feeling.... I just blog when I can now and just hope my friends are still around! I think it should be a joy not a chore so if I don't feel like it or don't get time I don't worry too much. Anyway happy to hear all is well and will be here when you do check in! Happy weekend! X
ReplyDeleteThanks Tiff, it was starting to feel like something else to tick off on my never ending list. It quite scared me when I realised I was thinking in blog posts. Nothing like a break to gain some perspective. Happy Weekend to you too.
DeleteWelcome back Deb!! You are a creative person and I know youll continue your beautiful blog when you are ready! And it'll be wonderful because that's who you are :)
ReplyDeleteThanks Courts. I didn't realise until I read this that I haven't been creating much either. My poor crochet hook and sewing machine are gathering dust. We must organise a coffee soon and maybe that will inspire me when I hear what you and the other local bloggy girls have been up to.
DeleteHi Deb
ReplyDeleteAs I'm still a new follower of your blog I have enjoyed reading it and am glad you're back and feeling a bit more like posting again...looking forward to reading about your hellish camping trip...xo
