Can you believe this is Alice Springs?

I thought the centre of Australia was meant to be arid. Ha, not when we were in Alice. It poured.

This is the view in the caravan park at 4pm.

And a bit later!

The "dry" Todd River.

There was even water over the road!

We are looking forward to heading North to the warm and hopefully dry weather!

The Moerks

The Todd River - flowing!

  1. I have been having a lovely little catch-up on your Moerkabout. Fabulous photos of Uluru.... I'm very envious... I wasn't expecting so much rain and I'm sure you weren't either! Look forward to the next update and please don't worry about replying. You're on HOLIDAY!

  2. Bummer about all the wet weather you guys are having, you are getting to see the country side in a different light to most. Peter saw LULU out walking today.

I've been enjoying catching up on your amazing adventure so far + fab photos! I love the shot of the car shadow. J is enjoying the different toilet opportunities - typical boy!

  5. Cooo-ee! Hope you're doin' OK in the great outback. Thought of you yesterday when we were at the beach and the setting sun cast long shadows - I took Moerk-like family photo. Such fun.

    Safe travelling.
