Haberdashery- Spools

You may have noticed that apart from one lapse with the t towels I have not posted any Christmas posts
Yet!
That is because I am waiting until December 1st.

I love this Sadie Olive photography.
I also love her bits and pieces of haberdashery and 
spools of ribbon and lace.

The Nordic folks also seem to love the wooden spools and in their light,
they look so good.

If only I had kept all my old wooden reels.
I will have to keep an eye out for some.

    I have some just like the ones in the second pic. At the moment they're just decoration but I love using them as candle holders. And the little cotton reels are fabulous too...I must launch an attack on mum's linen cupboard and see if I can find some :)

    Yes, they do look great as a decor accessory... I have got my eye on one in a shop with string and the old style scissors... ;-)

    Hi Deb, I love old spools too and have a couple that I purchased a few years ago up in the Dandenongs. You can purchase some like those in the second pic from Provincial Home Living stores.
