How was your weekend?


1st option

Mine was good.
Very social.
I reckon I made about 40 cups of tea and coffee.
Lots of people calling in.


better homes

Some catching up with old friends.
Some catching up with our lovely neighbours.
A lot of chatting.
I love it when the house is humming.
Did I tell you Mr M has made us a new kitchen table?
Probably not.
I have had trouble with the dreary winter light. 
I am trying to take a picture to do this beauty justice.
It's a lovely table and was the hub of chatting and catching up over the weekend.

I will try and catch some good light and show it to you.
Guess what colour it is?

    Great images, I particularly like the 1st option one. I worked the weeked but it has started today as I have today and tomorrow off. Yours sounded very busy but nice. I'd love to see the table so get that picture happening! As to the colour, I don't know, white?

    Beautiful bursts of colour to start off the week - thank you! I have had my eye on that Livingetc shot for a little while now - the chair is so stunning, with the red artwork. I haven't been one for painting walls in dark colours much, but I've noticed myself being drawn to interiors like that more and more - maybe time for something new?

    You had me at pink! Although I am very partial to the chair in image 2. And show us the table...we don't care about lighting, just cleverness. And what colour? C'mon Deb, that's hardly a challenge!
