Gorgeous farm to stay at

I seem to have country life and farms on my mind at the moment.

I was delighted to stumble across this beauty.

You can rent her.

What a perfect place for a stylish country break.
I am drooling over the colours in this room.
Well, in the whole house actually.

I love the bunting on the front verandah.
It just says welcome.

All the details can be found here.

Do you have any favourite houses you hire?
It is always good to know what is around.

  1. Hi Debs

I just took a tour of the house, isn't it gorgeous. I love those deep verandahs you have in australia, something we never see in Europe.
    So when are you going?!

  2. I'm very interested as we have a large family, hotels can be expensive & you just need to be able to cook properly etc. Checking out the details now, love Posie

  5. Oh my word that is stunning! I'd rather buy it than just rent it!
I stayed at a place in Melbourne that was amazing - a 6 or so bedroom Edwardian terrace, just up from the Museum. I can't seem to remember the name though. You need a group to afford to stay there, but I'd definitely recommend it. Great for a girly weekend :)

  6. I don't think I'd ever want to go home again! I love the effect of the bunting against the cream walls too.

  7. It looks lovely - and I agree, the bunting is so quaint and welcoming on that verandah. What a lovely home it would be to stay in - I'd be forever taking photographs of all the interior :)

Sorry I haven't stopped by as often as usual lately. Things have been hectic... am having a catch up now xx

  8. Hi Deb, that is a lovely home and I especially love the chalkboard paint in the kitchen. Had a kitchen with a wall like that four houses ago. Wanted to say hello to you and looking forward to Sarah's good mail exchange. :)

  9. Ooh my, yes the bunting is absolutely beautiful. What a lovely home! But what about those bedside draws in the bedroom, they are too divine. Gorgeous lounge-room too Rach xx

  10. Hi Deb, Found you via Fun and VJs (it appears we have been looking at the same houses!) It was interesting to find out that the owner of this one (and also the house in Bondi) was on the last Renovators program. We are hoping to buy a weekender, so I have been looking around for some decorating ideas. A little while back we rented Ammamead (a Queenslander house up in the Byron Hinterland.) It was a lovely and relaxing place to stay. xx
