Top ten table scapes

I must confess that until I started reading blogs, I had never heard of the term "tablescaping".

Sarah from A beach cottage introduced me to the term and I have loved them ever since.

I am more transfixed by the snow outside than the table. How pretty.

I fully intended no.10 to be a Moerkstyle tablescape on the table Mr M made for me.  but I have been decluttering and rearranging the children's bedrooms like a madwoman.

I am on fire.

Boy 1's room was done on Saturday,

Miss B yesterday and big boy is on my list for today.

The first two were great.

they joined in, made decisive decisions about what to keep and what to throw away.

And even let me rearrange the furniture.

I can't get Miss B out of her room she is loving it.

Back to the tablescapes.

Which do you prefer?

I am tossing up between the first one because it looks warm and fun and the dreamy whites blossom one because it is so pretty.

If you don't already know her blog, pop over and visit. She is full of inspiration regarding all manner of domestic and international stuff.

These wonderful scones were consumed by a group of us by the creek in a rather idyllic setting.

After footy and netball, a group of us visited a friends farm where the blokes went all macho and chopped wood for our fire.

See the colour of the redgum.

It is rather magnificent.

The boys were cleaning up trees which had fallen over after the January storms and floods.

Whilst they were hard at work, we ladies kept the fire burning and kept half an eye on the children.

 It's a long weekend here for the Queen's Birthday.

 This morning Mr M made pancakes for breakky.

Mmmmmm

I attempted to take shots to show off the table Mr M made.

I will keep trying,

I need to do it justice.

I may have to try tablescaping al la Sarah from abeachcottage.

Sarah always gets it white right.
