Coral Bay

We must be fairly easy to please campers because we have enjoyed most places we have been to. Coral Bay was an exception, We loved it.
A lovely little bay, white sand, lots of spangled emporer fish swimming around, stingrays and shovel nose rays pottering around in the shallows. The best part was that the beach was only across the road and all the caravan park people were so friendly. Especially one old guy named Charlie, who had us in hysterics telling us his wife was going to buy him a "man bag" to put his prosthetic leg in when they go to the beach because she is sick of carrying it and then he would get a matching "mankini."

I was so busy lying on the beach I forgot to take many daytime photos.

This and last seasons Target and Billabong beach fashions!

This is the view from the dunes. We walked along the beach to the Shark Nursery.

Just to prove I am really there!

  1. Gosh, that looks like a beautiful place to be right now! Nice to see a 'distant' shot of you too! It is raining here in Brisbane and I think it is set in for the week. What happened to Spring? Enjoy! ;-)
