Image Let's go Moerkabout.

Last weekend I went to haberdashery heaven.

I fossicked amongst buttons, and threads and balls and skeins of wool and yarn.

I went with Jacquie who loves these things too.

I forgot to buy some of this linen thread, isn't it a gorgeous colour?

Now I am am home I can think many uses for all the lovely yarn I didn't buy.

Isn't this a great setting for a market.
It's called Grampians Texture.
Next year I might do some sort of crafty workshop.
Then again, I might just spend hours playing with the buttons!

  1. I would love that place too! I inherited my Grandma's sewing box and it's got so many beautiful old wooden spools with really beautiful vintagy coloured thread. What a beautiful garden too!

  8. That looks like a place I'd like to visit. When you stop playing with buttons and I stop sniffing new boot leather we should make it a date!
