The travelling cupcake is moving on...& Friday Flower

That's right, it's time for the Moerks to say farewell
to Cuppie the Travelling Cupcake and wish her well on her travels.

Cuppie was sent to us from Kerry A Tranquil Townhouse and she came with us on a camping trip in Victoria, Australia.

You can read about it here.

Cuppie made some friends in our crockery cupboard.

We had a lovely time.
Now it is time for Cuppie to wing her way across the seas to Old Blighty
to the delightful Melissa of Miss Sew & So.
Who in conjunction with her daughter Ella came up with this line for this picture....

the cup cake is saying....

"oh my god....she's not listening to me...she's just gonna eat me!"
Good one Melissa and Ella!

I must say it was very hard to choose and I also cracked up when I read this one

Jeez if only I could get these eyes open I might be able to see what I"m eating.

Cuppie is the brainfood brainchild of
Dianna from One Crafty Fox
who started this whole challenge off.

So bye bye Cuppie, hope you have fun with Melissa and her family.

Who's next? - The travelling Cupcake

The travels of the tiny cupcake on a silver chain continue.

I was lucky to be chosen by Kerry from A Tranquil Townhouse to spend some time with Cuppie the Cupcake.
Cuppie is travelling the world, sent on the journey by Diana of OnecraftyFox.
We planned a camping trip to the Victorian Coast but alas, due to bad weather we travelled to Sunny Swan Hill on the banks of the Mighty River Murray.

Cuppie barely had time to settle before the heavens opened and it rained solidly for 2 days.

The shelter saved our sanity!

For a little break, we took Cuppie for a ride on a Paddle Steamer.

Then to the Pioneer Settlement for a look at old time Australia.

Then, when the sun finally appeared we celebrated!

Just in case you are not sure which country Cuppie is currently in.....

I took Cuppie for a little drive through rural Victoria.

She checked out the wheat crops.

Did some building inspection!

And tried to spot some native animals.

Got "up close and personal" with a scary Koala.

Just a note to clarify, this is definitely NOT my letterbox!

Now it's your turn to host Cuppie.

Leave a comment regarding the
photo below.

What do you think the cupcake said to the girl in the photo
to result in that look on her face?
The most creative comment wins,
Cuppie will be mailed to your home
with directions and you will be
the next to host The Cupcake Challenge
on your blog!

The Winner will be announced next Friday, 19th of November, 2010. Can't wait to see what cleverness you come up with! Please make sure I'm able to contact you so I can send Cuppie to wherever in the world you might be

Oh my, what have I got myself into?

We are very honored to be hosting a very famous little cupcake here in country Victoria in the near future.

Me and my big mouth entered the travelling cupcake challenge hosted by the lovely Kerry from A Tranquil Townhouse.  The winner takes custody of the little cupcake (Cuppie)  for a short period of time and shows her a good time. I then post some pics of her antics and you guys get to think up a little saying for the chance to be the next host.

She is quite well travelled and has made some very fine connections. She has graced the cover of Cleo Magazine, been to Floriade in Canberra and is on a first names basis with Buffy the Vampire Slayer. (Kerry's part evil but blog famous cat). Cuppie is the creation of Diana from One Crafty Fox who sent this little cupcake on its journey from Canada around the world in 12 months. For more info on the original challenge see here.

I can't help wishing Cuppie had been with us when we went to Uluru and other such famous places. Alas, she will have to settle for Aussie country hospitality.

Now I am off to dust off my balls of string in preparation for the much anticipated string ball tutorial!
