For the love of Mr Darcy

Imagine my joy when I stumbled upon Mr Darcy's proposal
sitting happily in the

My heart fluttered and I just knew I must share.

Feel free to take a moment and remember the glorious scene where
Mr Darcy (aka Colin Firth) emerges from the lake
resplendent in dripping white shirt.

Sigh....................

  8. I got home from banking and shopping early this afternoon and there was Mr D'arcy on the ABC! The episode stopped just after he asked her to marry him though...so I may just have to put on my DVD and watch the rest now. Great series for Valentines Day...swoon.

  9. Deb, Did you know that the wife(Myrtle Logue) of Geoffrey Rush's character Lionel Logue, in the King's Speech, is the Jennifer Ehle, who played Elizabeth Bennet in this series of Pride and Prejudice.
    How's that for a coincidence?
    cheers,
    Louise

  16. *SIGH* What can I say... you have just made my day... it doesn't really get any better than Colin Firth playing Mr Darcy! I am going to have to admit to having the DVD and to watching it fairly frequently.... I think I might have to get one of those tea towels... I think it would make a good cushion! X
