I've been at it again......

I have had the old crochet hook out again.

It's hard to find things to crochet.

That are kind of socially acceptable.

I do realise that it is not everyone's cup of tea.

I think in the right circumstances.

And, when paired with an old wrinkly nightie from the dress up box.

It can look quite pretty.

Linking up here and here.

  1. I think they are fabulous. Like you say, crochet is not for everyone, we really don;t do doilies anymore, but who wouldn't just love crochet hangers...I really like all the little flower embellishments.

  2. I love crocheted hangers. I use them to hang my winter cardigans. Sounds very Granny, doesn't it? And that nightie. Did you mean your personal dress up box...or the kids?? xx

  3. Check this out http://www.bcbusinessonline.ca/profiles-and-spotlights/people/anna-kosturova-queen-of-less This gal crochets bikinis and swim suits and they have been on the covers of the Sports Illustrated swimsuit issue! I couldn't wear one but she makes lots of money selling these.....

I do love the hangers though.

  5. ha, i loved your cheekiness, i think i'm using that aussie term correctly. i agree, this art isn't for the masses anymore but your photographs with the white nightie look quite romantic. and anything someone 'crafts' is always amazing to me since i've never crafted anything~

  7. Are you kidding! I think crocheted coathangers are the ants pants! Are yours are very pretty and covetable (and I don't use that word much!) Bit worried about you catching cold in that flimsy little nightie though :)
