Yesterday my favourite cook Donna Hay had these skeleton gingerbread men recipes in her weekly Sunday newspaper column.
Master B and I set to work.
Ours aren't quite as neat as these ones.
But they were fun.
So, for the first time ever the kids have Halloween treats in their lunchboxes today.
Halloween is a fairly new thing here in Australia. We have never ever had a trick or treater knock on the door.
I wonder if we will this year?
Hi Deb
ReplyDeleteHow clever is the icing in the bickies?
I just saw earlier this morning - someone had made some black playdoh for the little ones to play with - how cute.
I feel like a cup of tea right now and want to jump through the screen and take one of those biscuits.
have a great day

Hi Deb,
ReplyDeleteCute biscuits. I have not done anything this year for Halloween. No decorations at all. Two years ago in Perth I went to see about ten of our neighbours told them we would be trick or treating and gave them nut free chocolates/lollies to give to the girls. We all dressed up as superman (girls decision?) The girls LOVED it and the neighbours went to so much trouble carving out pumpkins and dressing up. It was fantastic. I might put a bit more effort in next year.

Hi Deb
ReplyDeleteYou did a fabulous job with these bisquits.. brilliant!! Or I should say you and Master B!!
Today I saw some trick or treaters walking down the street but they looked a tad boring. haha.. but one year I saw a ghost riding past on a scooter.. I quite liked that!! hehe.. took me a while to remember it was Halloween so it was quite amusing..
Ok.. have a great Halloween!! and not too scary!! ciao xxx Julie
I'm a dope.. just realised they are not YOUR bisquits.. never mind.. lets pretend they are! haha
ReplyDeleteDon't you just love Donna - I'm a huge fan!
