Broome- Dinosaur footprint hunting

When you are travelling with a 6 year old and the words Dinosaur footprints are mentioned, there is but one choice. "Lets go find them"!

Gantheame Point near Broome is home to fossilized dinosaur footprints which can be seen at low tide.

The rocks all around are interesting colours and shapes.

This concrete model gives us a clue as to what to look for.

Bingo!

Amazing, these are just so ancient.

Happy 6 year old, happy family!

  1. It's amazing to think how old these footprints are and they are still with us. I wonder what we will leave behind for future generations to find - Take-away wrappers perhaps!!!!

Cannot believe you are enjoying sunshine + beautiful beaches while we are being literally washed away!! Only a little bit jealous! Mum has arrived and cannot believe how cold, wet + muddy it is! Girl with spika is coping well + managed to go back to school. Keep the blogs coming!! xo
