We finally have it here in Canada. I was forever bringing home teacups in my suitcase whenever I went State side. The clothes are lovely too. They also heavily discount their stuff when they do have a sale.
haha. it's a killer store with great style in clothing and home goods. some of the prices though kill me a little inside, though the $98 shift dress i've purchased there i've worn more than any other dress i've owned in my entire life!
for my wedding i had a candle fragrance created by someone who assists in making candles sold at anthro as my wedding favors!!!
I haven't really seen much of Anthropologie here either. They opened here a while back but I think you have to actually see it to believe it and I haven't visited the store yet. Shame on me, I know!!
Postage is seriously gob-smacking to Oz unless you can swoop something up in the sales... I bought Ella the most gorgeous quilt that I'd been watching for ages -down from £100 to £19!!
Their catalogues are a keeper- like little books of inspiration!
Ah, Deb. Chuckling in Hobart. I only found out about it through blogland as well. Hmm, I must investigate whether they can send me their catalogues, given Miss Melissa's comments! J x
Anthro can turn into quite the addiction! I love it too much!
ReplyDeleteXO,
Jane
Anthro has so many beautiful things but the postage to Aus is appallingly high. Very sad :(

ReplyDeleteIt is amazing but the shipping is a killer. AT least the Aussie dollar is strong at the moment.
ReplyDeleteSo cruel that 'The Colonies' miss out on all this beauty. A-M xx
ReplyDeleteI KNOW! I agree with Sarah. The post is very sad! I scour the catalogue anyway though! I vote they bring it to Australia! x
